Lee Veazey

Conductor of Evansville Philharmonic Youth Orchestra II (EPYO II)

A native of Evansville and former member of the Evansville Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Mr. Lee Veazey, a double bassist, has performed with the New Mexico Symphony, Symphony of the West Valley, Lexington Philharmonic, the American Academy of Conducting at the Aspen Music Festival and School, Owensboro Symphony and the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. He was an award winner in the Southwestern Division of the American String Teachers Association and was a fellow at the world-renowned Aspen Music Festival and School. Mr. Veazey holds degrees from Arizona State University, the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and the Indiana University McKinney School of Law. Mr. Veazey is a partner at Dentons Bingham Greenebaum where he practices law, performs with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestral Corporation and serves as an instructor of music at the University of Evansville.
